Cancellation Policy for Wedding Photography

At Culey Photography, we understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances can arise, leading to the need to cancel or reschedule your wedding photography booking. To ensure clarity and fairness for both parties, we have outlined our cancellation policy below:

Booking Deposit

  • A non-refundable booking deposit of £195 for a full-day package and £95 for a ceremony-only package is required to secure your wedding date. This deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your chosen package.

Cancellation by the Client

  • More than 90 Days Before the Wedding:

    • If you cancel more than 90 days before the scheduled wedding date, no additional fees will be charged. However, the booking deposit will not be refunded.

  • Between 60 and 90 Days Before the Wedding:

    • If you cancel between 60 and 90 days before the scheduled wedding date, 50% of the remaining balance (total cost minus the deposit) will be due.

  • Less than 60 Days Before the Wedding:

    • If you cancel less than 60 days before the scheduled wedding date, the full remaining balance (total cost minus the deposit) will be due.

Rescheduling by the Client

  • More than 60 Days Before the Wedding:

    • If you need to reschedule more than 60 days before the original wedding date, we will make every effort to accommodate the new date without any additional fees. The booking deposit will be transferred to the new date, provided it is available.

  • Less than 60 Days Before the Wedding:

    • If you need to reschedule less than 60 days before the original wedding date, a rescheduling fee of £[Rescheduling Fee] will apply. The booking deposit will be transferred to the new date, provided it is available.

Cancellation by the Photographer

  • In the unlikely event that [Your Photography Business Name] needs to cancel your booking due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstance, we will:

    • Provide a full refund of all payments made, including the booking deposit.

    • Make every effort to find a suitable replacement photographer with a similar style and pricing.

Force Majeure

  • Neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power, or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout, or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.
